What type of wood should I use?

Seasoned hardwood, such as red gum, ironbark, or boxwood, is ideal for wood fireplaces. These woods burn longer and hotter, ensuring efficient heating. Avoid green or treated wood, as it produces more smoke and less heat, and treated wood can release harmful chemicals when burned.
